by George L. on The restaurant and the food was great! The decor was pretty. They had some cool lamps and lit up birch tree thingie. They had good guac, they make it right in front of you (i love the showmanship) The food was good. I had the steak quesodilla at the suggestion of the bartender. My entree was smaller than I expected but other people dishes were quite large (not sure what it is but they had slices of beef and you can makje your own taco/or boprrito thing, that was kinda big) By the way they serve drinks in plastic cups at the bar. That was kind of off putting for semi classy place like this. At the table it is normal cups and silverware. We also had the sangria which was great, tasty and strong but a lil too much ice but w/e. The service suffered for some reason. They had plenty of staff and the place wasn't even that full but, everytime I asked for water (which was since I sat down) they forgot. They kept on forgetting. Then they finally gave me one glass of water during my whole meal and then only once again after I payed my bill. I never had such a hassle trying to get some h20. I would say it was still a great meal. --- The basement The dance area, Kind of bad. The music was eh. I wouldn't pay to get in here (not sure if there was a cover i was in a party group). It just didn't look as nice as the rest of the place. The 2nd level, I didn't party up there but i think reserved for larger private parties. Overall I would def come back here for a meal, but not to party.
