My roommate and I go here all of the time because its near our house and everything is done right: from the friendly, genuine service to the perfectly cooked burgers. The burgers are the best we've had in Philly, and the $8-$9 price tag is just an added bonus. They also have a nice selection of beer including some choices from local breweries, and although their fries are just o.k., the sauce that comes with them its amazing. Go! You won't be disappointed.
by Nyla Schwiebert on DO NOT EVEN THINK OF GOING HERE. I blacked out and collapsed in the club. Thankfully I was there with a friend. NOT ONE PERSON HELPED ME. I can't even express how messed up and scary that is. NOT ONE PERSON HELPED MY FRIEND PICK ME UP! He supposedly took me outside and while outside, the bouncers didn't help either. One of them apparently flagged down a cab to get me home so my friend didn't have to leave me, but that's it. WHAT JERKS. How can you just ignore the fact that someone collapsed in your club? What if I had a concussion or broke something?? $30 cover and this place sucked inside. Crappy music, pretty crappy people, and even worse service, clearly. $35 for two drinks is really out of hand. I am so angry about this garbage. The photos aren't accurate, either. It's pretty shitty inside. I can't believe not ONE person helped my friend carry me or got someone that works there to help us. I think someone had put something in my drink because two drinks would not do this to me. I woke up in the hospital today. Thanks, Marquee! If I were you, I wouldn't fund garbage like this.
by Sabrina L. on Well, La covacha is a great option if you live in the Doral Area. Since I do, it's very convenient b/c u wont be doing much driving. Just watch out for the cops who usually park outside...so try to assign a designated driver. I've been celebrating my bday there for the past 2 years and is great! I usually reserve the ViP section which is pretty much secluded from the rest of the club and gives u a feeling of having a private party with ur own personal dj. I love it there! Plus when u get the vip, bar is open from 10-11:30pm!. A bottle of grey goose is $250..not bad...and everyone u invite gets in for free bf 12.
