A friend told me about Spice Market a few months ago, and when Groupon had a recent offer in which I could purchase a $25 dining certificate to Spice Market for only $5, which was a $20 Savings, I took advantage of it without hesitation. I met a good friend for dinner at Spice Market last week after work. Spice Market's menu is a fusion of American, Asian and Indian influences. I started off with their signature Ginger Margarita cocktail which tasted like it was made from the real Ginger Root itself. It had a very strong Ginger taste and was very delicious. For our appetizers we ordered the Fried Calamari which was cooked perfectly and the grilled Chicken Skewers with a citrus dipping sauce. The chicken was meaty and juicy and grilled just right. For my entrée, I ordered the Pork Vindaloo. Vindaloo is a traditional spicy hot Indian curry dish. Because of the hot spices and peppers, I couldn't eat it all in one sitting, and ended up taking the rest of it home with me and finished it for dinner over the next two days. I was impressed how similar the dish was to the Vindaloo dishes I've eaten at traditional Indian Restaurants. My friend ordered the Short Rib served over pasta. The dish was a very thick, yet tender Short Rib, slow cooked and served on top of a bed of thick pasta noodles. To me, the dish was more American influenced than Asian, but was cooked to perfection. She really enjoyed it and couldn't eat it all in one sitting either. Because of the wonderful flavors of the dishes, I can truly see why the Restaurant is named Spice Market.

Total fan. I loved the music, bought my first alcoholic drink here and danced the night away. You do not understand, I loved the music, I was getting tired of the techno-ey stuff they play at Rage, they most def do not do that to their music here, well somewhat but not total technoed out. My all time favorite room had to be the Spanish music room, they played some cumbias, quebraditas, salsa, pop rock, rock and reggaeton! Get on the Guest List and get in for 5 bucks before 10, or print out a flier and get in for 5 bucks before 10. Mixed crowd somewhat, mostly Hispanic which was okay with me I felt like I was at a BBQ with all my gay family LOL
