by Romona Gauthier on I've most DEFINITELY been to better clubs. They have a lot of bars and a lot of rooms with different music (none of which is really that great) and tons of space to dance which is the main reason this place even gets 2 stars. The bartenders are rude and don't know what they're doing. My friend ordered a Vodka Tonic which you would think is one of the simplest drinks in the world right? Wrong! They gave her a Vodka with Grapefruit juice and when she asked the bartender to make it again, she got SO much attitude in return. Even when it was remade it was still wrong. It wasn't just that bartender either. We went to one of the other bars, ordered a Vodka Tonic and got Vodka with Club Soda......seriously guys??? There's two, count 'em TWO ingredients...NOT rocket science! And to make it worse, there's a $20 minimum for credit card purchases!! -__- EPIC FAIL on the drink situation. The crowd was kinda ghetto-ish. Which is fine. I can get down with the best of them and it certainly makes for some excellent people-watching (there were some super hot-messes when I went). At the end of the night, it was fun but only because of the people I was with, NOT because of this place. I won't be going back there anytime soon.
by Meredith F. on $17 per person to wear ugly shoes and roll a ball down a lane a couple dozen times? Whaaaa?? Lucky Strike is beautiful inside, with clubby lighting, a nice array of music pumping, and loungey leather couches in the bowling area. Apparently there is a dress code since the guy in front of me at the door was asked to remove his baseball hat. Isn't bowling technically a sport? If the price was more reasonable I would have given it 5 stars since it's so stylish, spacious, clean, and trendy inside. But after you pay for food, drinks, pool, and bowling--you will be left looking for some "spare" change. (Okay, bad bowling pun.)

(Yes they do check IDs in the line) -Parking the garge below is $10. -BRING cash unless you want to wait in a long line for the ONE ATM they have. -EAT Before. Unless you plan on paying $9 for a simple sandwich or some crackers and hummus. -Drinks are $7-10 dollars -Bring your camera =D I came late, around 7pm so i couldnt get tickets to the planetarium =( bummer, but i'll get em next time! Check out the albino alligator, the cute penguins in the Africa section, walk around with a drink in hand in the aquarium for fun! I had a cocktail of sky vodka, cranberry, and oj and some beer. Not too shabby. I stood in line for 30 min for the Guittard chocolate tasting. it was near the end of the night so they put out bigger chunks of chocolate. was it worth 30 min? not really. i didnt get a chance to hit the rainforest dome b/c of my sweet tooth! Some girls dressed up like they were at a club. NO! it's okay to dress casually here, but i see it as more of a date place.. so don't come messy, but no need to put on some stilettos and a short dress. I haven't been to the academy of science since i was in elementry school for field trips. It has definitely changed! It's now very modern and i relaly enjoyed the Nightlife. I had a good time. The last song they played was MJ - tribute to his recent passing. extra points for the good ending (the DJs played house music throughout the night ).
