Look I'm 23, I'm not 50 but the music at this place is just straight up too loud. I was there for a buddy's bday and I walked out side for a smoke, and my ears were ringing. The line is absurd for a tiny place where it is literally impossible to talk to anyone. Let me say that again, it is literally impossible to talk to anyone inside that bar. No coat check which is a necessity for a place that is strictly good for dancing. The djs love doing that move where they play some really good music, but only play one verse of the song before they change it to some other bs top 40s song. Its a poor mans goodlife. I have no complaints about the bar except the fact that its impossible to get to when its busy, but that will happen. The staff is great, they turn the tvs off when there isnt an important game on (underrated sign of good management), bouncers dont suck, bartenders can make good drinks, love the low bar set up. Bottom line, its trendy, but not cool.

NIGHT VISITED: Friday. GETTING IN: pain in the ASS.  Seriously.  Its been open for a bit now and myself and a gal friend were on a promoters list but it was still a bitch.  we got there at like 1015 or so (aka early) and still had to wait for a good 30 minutes... and even then they were letting VERY few people in that didn't have table service etc etc.. understandably its a smaller place and once we got in (1045ish) it certainly was pretty packed, but ya, definitely a bitch getting in.  Get here early or don't plan on getting in.  Not to mention the bouncers (or at least the one that decides who is in or out) is kind of a jerk.  I normally am fine with what's going on and understanding,  but this guy was just a bit too much of a jerk for my liking. THE CROWD: Good, but odd.. a good amount of european looking people inside as well as a HINT of ghetto folk, but certainly majority hollywood and attractive.   Plenty of skin showing here. THE CLUB:  From the makers of MyHouse i was expecting an amazingly detailed and impressive venue.  it was certainly impressive that much is for sure.  Better than MyHouse?? Debatable, i'd say no however.  Upon entering there is a big dance floor area with the DJ booth in the middle oddly.. you go up a small set of stairs and there is a bar in the middle that's easily accessible.. then an entire separate "room" with more dancing/tables is further back in the club (almost feels like a separate club) that apparently is open air enough (didn't seem it) to allow smoking.  The back room also has another large easy to access bar.  The lighting fixtures/decorations are very cool/unique and the space in general feels smaller than it really is.  Again, not quite myhouse but certainly much better than your average club.  Also, have to give a special note here about the amazingly friendly/attractive bar staff.  Top notch, stiff drinks, and by the end of the night we were even ripping Jameson with one particularly attractive dark haired one.  Props to her :) OVERALL:  Once your in it's great.  More of a place to dance than a lounge, but the music is good, the bartenders great, the crowd certainly up there, and just all in all another great place to check out in Hollywood, even this long into its lifespan (sad to say for a place open 6 months?? but that's hollywood) its still a GREAT place to spend an evening.

This is a great summer spot - the water, the concept of being on a dock-ey boat like thing while drinking. Riverside bars are the new roofdeck bars, dont you know? Warning - you will want the pitcher of Sangria. Warning - it costs a sh*tload of money so don't get it. Stick to a bucket of Coronas - it'll save you the sugar hangover in the morning. Also, careful going down to the bathroom. The steps are really narrow and I had a friend fall both going down AND up. She's a little special, but be careful nonetheless. One more thing - if you get kind of sick, try not to look at the boats that are docked next to the FP - I was looking at them and felt totally nauseous. I had to adjust positions and afterwards I was fine. But I can see myself getting blackout and looking at the boat accidentally and well.. you know the rest. Definitely a must go in the summer but it gets crowded, so be prepared!
