Back to the BAY!!!! This place is rock'n....valet out front(check) no line for me(check) & inside looks like a castle(check, check) ; ) The decor looks like a living room to a castle & upstairs the VIP area is all white with a balcony over looking the entire club. The decor is just gorgeous & other worldly. Music was amazing & the crowd was a mix of young bloods & 30+ somethings...and the 1 crazy guy kicking like a donkey(no joke.) He was sitting at a table with his friends & would get up and hold on the the arm of a couch and kick his legs back like a donkey....weird looking let me tell you. There's a live tree up in the place with branches reaching out & it adds to the atmosphere. The restrooms were super clean & never busy.. BIG plus. There's also a glass smoke room..the place is a visual masterpiece. Gooooo check it out....you'll love it here.

Nikki, Nikki, you are so Tricky! For those of us who worship posh clubs in MP an Chelsea, midtown and uptown are god forsaken places, so I would take a liberty at suggesting that Nikki is not the BEST choice, but it is the ONLY choice if you find yourself above 30th street and in a mood for something splashy and fun. I come here monthly either for when I need to entertain clients who are a bit older but still like to party or when I am with friends who don't look/dress like models: + great wine list and one of the best dirty martinis in town + awesome food (only go for fish dishes: firecracker shrimp and ceviche, sushi are solid, tuna tartar is the best... don't order their skewers or meat entries, too dry and not good quality meat) + great music mix (80s, 90s, house, hip-hop) + lots of dancing options: VIP space, lots of room near tables, on a floor, on a catwalk + nice clientèle (well dressed B&T but some older folks in the mix, almost feels like Southern Europe but with a scent of local dushes) + can always get in if you come early enough (this Fri, we came around 11pm) Two big minuses - they have an absolutely horrible violin player who once in a while gets on a podium and starts playing some awful music so loud that I usually use that time for a bathroom break. Maybe this seem like a novelty for out-of-towners, but for us locals who know what is in season at Carnegie and AFH, it is quite annoying/embarrassing - they let guys who a) don't know how to dance, b) don't look good on a catwalk... which defeats the whole purpose for sensible men to come here to buy bottles and look at young things doing naughty moves high up. They need to have a bouncer who explains catwalk etiquette to those B&T morons and pulls them down

YUCKOLA. I was not impressed with the crowd at TR, mostly because they were all hammered and acting trashy. I did not mind the music..mostly 80's music, which I am a big fan of. While dancing, I could not help but notice a lot of trash, spillage, and crunchy (?) objects on the floor...not to mention the pipes (?) leaking/dripping water from the ceiling...eek! The tables appeared to be dirty and sticky, which did not make taking a break from the dance floor enjoyable. If you have nowhere else to go and wind up here, you can make the best of it if you are with the right crowd and keep to yourself..otherwise, I would not recommend it for a first choice.
