Note: girls in skirts, dresses and shorts, no deal. So two out of our whole group did it. And one bruised her tail bone pretty badly. Maybe I'm glad I didn't do it. Slide (n): an embellishment consisting of an upward or downward series of three or more tones, the last of which is the principal tone. AKA, most of the songs that were on blast. The DJ flowed easily from 80s, 90s, top 40s and underground hip hop. Slide (n): a flat or very low-heeled, backless shoe or slipper that can be slipped on and off the foot easily. AKA, none of us were wearing those that night. For good reason. Everyone there was dressed impeccably. It's dead before 10. Packed at 11. Suffocatingly hot at midnight. Pick your time, get your stamp, and down you go down the chute!
