by Betty N. on **FRIDAY NIGHT OYSTER HOUSE MADNESS ** There was two lines to get in on a Friday. One for general admission. One for an actual table. When did Mayes Oyster House become a wannabe velvet-rope LA night club? Crowded dance floor but we danced anyway. A mix of friendly and unfriendly women. They either hate you or love you. Not a memorable place but got the job done. RECOMMEND for dancing desperates.
by Aaron N. on I would give this club zero stars if I could, because I don't plan to go back there ever. The reason being that my car was stolen in that shady neighborhood while I was in Suede. My car was parked on Francisco, between Mason and Powell; it was awesome to walk out of the club on a rainy morning and discover that my car was not where I left it.
