by Derek B. on While the DJ spins very different beats on different nights(http://www.middlesexlo...), you typically can't go wrong at Middlesex if you're looking for a good place to dance in Cambridge. Outside of most bars in the area that keep playing the Top Pop 40, Middlesex spins in house and other more dance worthy music to get its patrons moving. One warning, this place gets packed, and if you plan on going, get there early. Often times there is a long line outside the doors by 11pm, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Expect to pay a $5 cover on these nights.
