by Joey S. on This place is played out and inconvenient. Only corny people honestly buy into these "speakeasy" themed places. I guess this place is fun to check out just once. Here are some further facts about the place: - the SLIDE that it takes its namesake from is NEVER open. So just hit those stairs on the left and walk right by it. - Friday and Saturday nights are impossible to get in on. Also, the Thursday Christian Pineiro events are a scam and never have the advertised bubbly special. I called ahead to check and the hostesses play dumb like they don't know who is promoting their club but somehow the doormen knew of the event. This has happened on multiple occasions. - the cocktails are HORRIBLE... I had the worst tasting AMF here and a tokyo tea that tasted like bubblegum. Stick with a beer or bubbly. - even if they have a $100 bottle service special... they charge a MANDATORY $50 "service fee." If clubs can scam this way, they might as well have free bottles and $200 service fees to trick people into buying bottles. - I really want to say this place looks nice but it is hands down the darkest club I have ever been to. Not only are you going underground, but you feel like a trapped coal miner because it is so damn dark. - However, if you're a euro type person that likes house, this place is all you. - go here, check this place out, and you will encounter a few of the above mentioned issues. Then you can FUC this review.
by Shani S. on Sexy spot, pretentious crowd. An image type of spot. It'll be what you make of it. I'm not really fascinated or intimidated by the model scene maybe because I'm pretty tall myself. However, this model wanna be scene these club owners aim after is overrated. Ohhh the drinks were super awesome.
