by Erica B. on We had our wedding reception at Bimbos and we are so glad that we did! All of our guests raved about the wedding and how unique it was! Bimbos has a fantastic event staff. Everyone knew exactly what to do. I worked mostly with Ashley, Gino, and Steve, and everyone was awesome to work with! They answered all of our questions and provided us with great suggestions on how to set up the venue. They also coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure everyone knew load in and load out times. Everyone was very professional, accommodating, and dressed up for the event. Steve acted as our day off production coordinate, and was awesome! He also acted our MC the day of the wedding and was able to do that plus manage the music and make sure the wedding stayed on schedule. He is very good at what he does! Bimbos nailed the set up details! I was blown away with how the venue looked! It was breath taking! Bimbos executed the vision for our wedding perfectly and couldn't be more ecstatic on how everything turned out!
by Tammy C. on (See pics) This is 3.4 stars but 4 will be overrated on the star scale here. Came here for a friend's birthday. Lemon drop was good. They put a bunch of tables together as we had a pretty big group that we occupied like half of the dining area. Ethiopian food choices were ample and they also have a bar menu if you want more conventional food. Overall it tasted good. Service was very nice but a bit slow. They have loud live jazz music. They play very mainstream all time pop Jazz hits rather than more Jazzy style music. The band tried very hard to please the crowd but I do think playing less popular music would have more benefits. Still, we had a pretty good time there.
