WOW! what can i say, i had a 9pm reservation for Parish, showed up at 8:45pm to only ONE Valet guy, poor guy was running around crazy with a line of customers and cars, 15mins later we walked inside Parish, ON TIME for our reservation, NO GREETING, NO HOST/HOSTESS...stood there like an idiot til finally I had to stop a server to let them know our party had arrived, finally a host/server/manager, not sure what his position was, rudely snapped at us......so patiently my party waited as 4 more parties arrived (can we say over booked) and watched 3 tables leave and no one getting sat, I asked the gentleman again how long the wait would be and He rudley snapped AGAIN and said 'I Got You', So, after being there for 45mins with rude service, no smiling host, no one telling us what was going on, we left and went and dined at Fritti, where we were warmly greeting, sat quickly and service was awesome.....I've always heard so much about Parish and was really excited to try it, but seeing how they have no clue about customer service nor friendliness, I can honostly say I will NEVER go dine there again...I believe that a restaurants service is half the atmosphere, I don't care if you serve gold wrapped in bacon, if your service/staff/host is rude or has NO CLUE about customer service skills, it ruins the experience, and with tight budgets and the economy, I don't think ANY restaurant can afford to loose customers......I've worked in the service industry for many years as hostess, server, bartender, and I have ALWAYS greeted the guests like they were the President or Oprah..... Thanks! and if u want great service & amazing pizzas go try Fritti!

Being that I live 2 blocks away and loved C&L, I was so excited when this opened. Well, all in all, it was a discordant experience. The owner, Gina, is wonderful and was able to smooth over a somewhat difficult situation. We had a 8PM reservation and were seated by an incredibly obnoxiously loud group (think Left at Albuquerque in the midst of Union Street Festival and multiply by 4). Now, I'm all for a fun, lively atmosphere, but when my ears are ringing because people are literally screaming a foot away, it was too much. I asked to switch tables and they accommodated very quickly and kept checking to see if we were happy. But, the menu is smaller than I expected based on the menu online (5 entree choices and none vegetarian). The food was good (my boyfriend said the pork was excellent) and the drinks were well made and strong, but nothing really blew me away. I will come back for drinks and the space itself is so beautiful- and Gina was so lovely I want to return, but I'm conflicted about my overall opinion of the place.
