Had brunch here recently - loved the decor!  The restaurant is cajun and the decor truly looks like what you'd find in a restaurant in New Orleans.  It's a bit noisy when crowded, but if you're at a table that's not in the center of the room, you should be ok.  Our server was very pleasant and helpful, but not very prompt with refills, etc. and forgot about a couple of requests we made when ordering.  I had the corned beef hash and thought it was tremendously salty - I felt bloated for two days after eating it.  The dish mainly consisted of big hunks of salty corned beef and really salty (and overcooked) potatoes.  It really could have used more veggies or something else in the mix with the beef and potatoes to offset the heaviness of the dish.  The poached egg on top was a nice touch and, when mixed in with everything, added a creamy consistency - sadly, it didn't add much flavor.  The husband had one of the "benedict" dishes that consisted of fried chicken on top of biscuits, all covered with gravy.  Everything was good, but still a bit heavy on the salt.  The true star of the meal was dessert - an apple streudel with brown sugar bourbon ice cream.  If you're having a drink with brunch, skip the In Cold Blood Screwdriver (completely flavorless) and get the Bloody Mary instead.  I would go again to try dinner, but wouldn't return for brunch. P.S.  Skip the valet and just find parking on a side street.

Back on time I was really lucky to spend several days travelling through the Sahara in Tunisia which included the visit to several Oases. Enter in The Park last night makes me evoke that memories. In the middle of nowhere and behind a modest and pretty bad looking outside you will enter in a unexpected micro-world. Thankfully I read Pearl K. photo's comment pointing out the fact that is right under the Park sign. The Main Room, The Atrium space, The Garden, The Red Room, The Penthouse Eating - Lounging - Cocktailing - Dancing. Glass enclosed spaces, Bamboo, Wisteria, glass doors, Japanese Trees, upstairs glass ceiling, impressive furniture and Asian ornaments. The place is as huge as beautiful and offers ambiances for all the moods. I was seriously impressed with the look. Besides how it looks like and judging just the lounge/dance side of The Park, its a nice venue to keep in my list of places to go back. Starting with one of the easiest to get in (we were just girls, tho), not strict dress code, no cover.... and followed for different spaces to satisfy your changes of mind along the night, enough good drinks with reasonable prices, a mixed crowd composed for all types, and music so so but not bad. I really liked that I never detect any non-respectful behaviour as I have notice in some other clubs from people who thinks they are so special to get in that they can do anything. Exclusivity at the door doesn't mean you are getting the best. I also like that I could take a relaxing, not-smoking breath in the other areas running away from the hot packed dancing Penthouse. And I liked that the Sexy Bitch - made with Stoli Peachick, Pineapple Juice, Fresh Mango Puree, Grenadine - and the Purple Kiss - a mix of Veev Acai Liquor, Fresh Lychee Juice, Lime Juice, Lavender Syrup- was pleasantly good and sweet. The service wasn't really great and the dance room gets crowded, but still we could find our private spot and move mostly comfortably. The DJ last night seemed to be running from old hip-hop hits through current danceable hits which it wasn't bad. I had overall a great time here. As everyone for what It could see. Coming Back, definitely

This is a pretty decent club if you ask me. I am not sure what people are expecting out of a club but I sure enjoyed myself at Temple and will return again. First I enjoy the rooms and how they are setup. I love the decor of the club and I do think they are going the right route to give off that vibe. It's a pretty neat location with several bar areas. The sound is good and the staff was really cool. I did not have the normal issues I've seen at other clubs in the city. You know the pissy door men who push and shove their way through the dance floor, going after that imaginary person who is "fighting"? These guys were really cool and I even spent some time chopping it up with some of them. They watched after my crew and made sure everything was handled professionally and that to me is good. Music: Let's see, house, uptempo Drum and Bass, and nice breakbeats. I was pretty much loving that aspect of this club. Like many club the music is based on the promoters but this particular night was banging, packed, and overall went off well. I did think the bathrooms were nasty, like any other club, but I found my self pinching my nose and running in only on the brink of pissing my pants. That's the nature of bathroom but this one was smelling like urine even before entering it. I give it 3.5/5 since it was a good night and despite the bathroom. But it is an AVG joint in a big city filled with several clubs. I will return often to this spot!
