by Renee C. on its so funny that this club is just around the corner of my friends apartment. we went there on a thursday night, just a random choice. but it just happened to be daft punk's secret dj set! we were literally dancing next to them! and i thought they were just pretending to be them until someone told me they were real and we were not allowed to say that! how random is that!!!!!!!!!!! but later they have their costume all lighted up, i guess thats a little bit too expensive to copy! lmao.. im so excited that they are real!!!!!!!

Day 26 had a special event to promote their new album! =) I got there around 9 with my friend and kicked it at the bar around the corner until the line started to form at 10pm. We didnt wait too long! We called the club up earlier to put our names on the guestlist which surprisingly worked. So we got in and one of the asian bartenders, I think her name was Dianne, hooked our drinks up and was very sweet to me and my best friend. The place was starting to get packed!! The dance floor was small and was getting crowded. I loved the smoking patio, it was indoor, but outdoor. LOL. the seating arrangement was nice, the place was really dim, bathroom line wasnt too bad. I danced and danced and danced until Day 26 showed up! Damn those men rocked the club that night!! It was off the chain! They put on a great show! =) I got great pictures of them and with them. Super sexy black men! =p Well anyway, this isnt a concert or show review. LAX is neat spot, it is hard to find though, doesnt even look like a club frm the outside. It is right across the street from Les Deux and Element. Parking is 15 bones, but the lot is right next to the club, so you dont have walk all far to and from the club. Drinks are expensive, just give the bartenders a generous tip the first round of drinks and they will take care of you the rest of the evening. Good place, tight security, exactly what I expected..just like any other Hollywood club.
