I enjoyed the food very much. It tasted very fresh and full of flavor. Great atmosphere. VERY friendly staff. My margarita was sooo small though, and served in a rocks glass which I didn't like.

i like the sound of Buddha Bar better than Ajna Bar. Went early on Fri night and it was about 40% full. Ambiance was nice. I saw that they got rid of the Big Buddha. Very similar looking to the one in Paris but not as loud. The waiter service was a group effort. 4 different guys helping us. Doesn't really work because the different waiters would ask the same questions - "can I get you another drink?" No, i just ordered one. Food was decent. the squash soup with beef dumplings was not memorable. all of the rolls were very good. thai chile spicy tuna, sea bass , and yellowtail rolls were the best. cocktail list was good. the Lady Samarai was good and the 2 sakes I tried were just ok.

I've been to Shine like twice a week for the past few weeks, and it keeps drawing me back.. Great music, strong drinks, great people and a sweet space.. If anyone has ever been in the old Red Eye (what this place used to be), you'll appreciate the amazing job that they guys have done with the place.. It's comfortable no matter how many people are in it, the music is loud on the dancefloor, but then the back loungey area is still chill enough to chat, even though there's no wall dividing the two... The photobooth in the back automatically posts the pics to flickr.. sweet!! That alone gives Shine the geek cred inherent in its street address. w00t! And.. the king diner is only a half a block away! 24 hour burgers withing stumbling distance? Really, what more could you want?
