While many people may view Kansas as being a bland state with no nightlife, this is not entirely accurate. You would be surprised at the club scene you can find here. There are a large number of places to choose. One of the best things about the state of Kansas is its safety level. Even major cities like Topeka don't have anywhere near the crime levels that you will find in cities such as Miami, Los Angeles, and Washington DC You can actually have a good time without running the risk of being a victim of crime. Unfortunately, it seems that some of the best states for the club scene in the US just happen to have some of the highest crime levels. While there are some great shopping centers in Kansas, it does not have the nightlife that you will find in New York, or even Washington state. The people are friendly, and the cost of living is low, but if you are looking for a jam packed vacation spot, it may not be your best option. However, there are a large number of restaurants in the state that cater to a number of different cuisines, and this is readily apparent in Topeka. The closest thing you'll probably find in this state to nightclubs are a few casinos that are located on 75 highway. If you enjoy dancing, there are a number of music halls that can be found in the region. In many ways, Kansas could be almost called the opposite of California.
